With her co-host Carlos Santos, they will be in segments during 3 shows on MTV, talking about the shows, interacting with fans, and interviewing celebrities. Adrienne Bailon: I’ll be hosting a show on MTV called Afternoons with MTV.
I start February 9th–I’m back to New York and I think we’ll be doing some specials on my album. Regular programming will be going on and on and I’ll be hosting live from 12-5PM every day. It’ll be me just talking about whatever I’m thinking about. I’ll even have artists on the show that I’ll interview. I’m really excited because I think we’re doing like a really big MTV special with my album. My single drops in the summer. My album will be out in September.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE! 2009 will be a huge year for Kiely, Adrienne & Sabrina. As you already know, Sabrina will be releasing her second installment of her workout DVD, BYOU, Adrienne is in the process of releasing her first solo album and she is the joining the MTV family and being the new host of Afternoons on MTV, and Kiely is also in the process of releasing her first solo album and dropping her first single, Make Me A Drink.

It's been really slow these past months due to the girls being on tour and myself being extremely busy. The girls are currently off tour and if you didn't get a chance to see it, you missed a real good show. I do hope they release the concert tour on DVD because it was amazing.

I would also like to remind you guys that I will be joining Terrance on Kiely's highly anticipated Official Website. I know you guys are patiently waiting for it and when it does open, you won't be let down.

Unless you’ve been living on a remote island lately (I’m talking to you, Jorge Garcia), then you’ve probably heard about Cheetah Girl Adrienne Bailon’s semi-naked pictures surfacing on the web last week. But I bet you haven’t heard about the 25-year-old cantante’s new reality show that’s in the works for MTV. On the day before her scandal broke (talk about crazy timing!), the part-Ecuadorian, part Boricua called me from the road and dished about something far less controversial–her upcoming small screen project.

“I have a lot of cool things in the works,” said Adrienne. “Amazing projects with MTV that are pretty definite. Most likely, I will be moving to New York City to work on my own MTV show, which I am so excited about!” she gushed. Adrienne is already quite comfortable on TV, since she was featured on the VH1 reality show “Keeping up with the Kardashian’s” with her boyfriend, Rob Kardashian, and has starred in three hit Cheetah Girls movies for Disney…and hopefully once this little controversy dies down, she’ll do even more of those: “We’re keeping our fingers crossed for a fourth Disney movie-maybe the Cheetah Girls go to Carnival!” she said at the time.

While I had her on the line, I asked Adrienne what she thinks about fellow Latina, Selena Gomez, becoming Disney’s newest princess. “I was the first Latina to ever be on the Disney channel,” she responded, explaining that Selena isn’t the first chica to be embraced by the kids network. “It was also great to be the first Latina to host Hispanic Heritage Month on The Disney Channel.” Now granted, I am a 25-year-old guy who doesn’t tune into The Disney Channel all that often, but I felt bad for not remembering that Adrienne was, in fact, the first Latina to star in a show on their channel. Props to her for that!

On November 12th, when Sabrina Bryan did a book signing at Virgin MegaStores in New York, an interviewer asked what her and The Cheetahs had planned for Thanksgiving, her response was, "We actually might be here for Thanksgiving, we might be performing at the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade or we might we in New Jersey spending time with Kiely's family."
It sounds to me that they were unsure themselves if they were performing in the parade, and now that they arent, the media might be sing Adrienne's scandal as an excuse.

JJ: All of the The Cheetah Girls are all coming out with their own albums. How does your sound differ from the other girls?

Sabrina: Adrienne mostly, is going to be focusing on a Spanglish-type album. She’s also really into R&B. I’m more into the pop-dance world so I want my stuff to me more like Kylie Minogue-esque, remix-Britney Spears kind of stuff; more dance inspired. And then Kiely’s extremely eclectic, so she’s gonna go in totally different genres. That’s kind of the flair that you get with the Cheetah Girls. We all have different styles that we bring to our group. This is gonna get a chance to kind of separate those.

Prayers to Sabrina Bryan.

Unfortunately, Sabrina Bryan was injured on the Miami concert of The Cheetah Girls: One World Tour. She hurt her ankle, making her unable to perform the finale number, "One World". Adrienne and Kiely still performed but Sabrina never made it onto the stage.

"The reason Sabrina didn't come out for the last song is that she really hurt her ankle," Bailon said during the number. "Please pray for her, guys." Williams and Bailon looked visibly preoccupied with their band mate's injury, rushing off stage after they finished singing.

+ Our girl, ADRIENNE BAILON, is featured on the cover of LEADER Magazine! She has an amazing spread and you can view it online right here! She talks Cheetah Girls, Girl Scouts, and her goals (which are going back to college, opening her own latin record label, and having her own cookbook with her mom). Also, there is mention that she might be starring in the revival of West Side Story, a possibility of a film project from Salma Hayeks Production company, and writing her own health and beauty guide for young girls. Adrienne is doing big things and this proves it.

+As far as the news I'd like to reveal, I can't say much right now. I've read the shout box and read many comments on me not posting the news yet, but that's fine. It won't faze me.

Kiely Williams is a sophisticated lady. Forget the 15-year-old-girl who grew up in the music biz and was introduced to the world as a member of the disbanded R&B trio 3LW, or the actress and member of The Cheetah Girls, the Disney series based on the critically acclaimed, coming-of-age book series of the same name. She recently costarred as a college sorority member in the comedy "The House Bunny." This young lady is definitely about empowerment and growth. On the second day of The Cheetah Girls tour, Williams talked to ESSENCE.com about the finger she broke in India, why her group will never receive the same props as the Jonas Brothers, and whether or not she is truly color struck.

ESSENCE.COM: So The Cheetah Girls have kicked off their tour and filmed their latest movie in India. Is there any truth to the myth that women can't get along, especially after spending so much time together?

KIELY WILLIAMS: Not at all. We have so much fun together (Raven-Symoné isn't with us because she chose to pursue a solo venture). We kept on going and we're having a great time even though I broke my finger on a steel door of our trailer. Adrienne and Sabrina were freaking out. I was trying to play it off but I end up wearing gloves in certain scenes, it looks ridiculous.

ESSENCE.COM: As a female artist, it's all about your look because "sex sells." Do you ever feel unpretty in an industry of plastic beauties?

WILLIAMS: I feel like that every day. I have at least one time a day where I think, Do I look okay? I'm in an industry that judges everything you do. And really there's no right or wrong because one girl can do porn and become the hottest chick in the game and the next girl can do the same and she's labeled a whore. It's like playing a guessing game where you're asking yourself, Is this is the right move? It's such a hard business.

ESSENCE.COM: It is tough and let's not forget the double standard between men and women. How has that affected you?

WILLIAMS: Me and the other two girls were talking about the fact that we'll never get the same exposure as the Jonas Brothers even though we probably do the same things as far as our marketing success with consumers. As female entertainers, society wants to marry us rather than focus on us being a brand. I'm proud of our success, but I'm telling young people to empower themselves, fulfill their dreams, and to be kind to one another. And that's the reason why I like being involved in the group, because we share that common goal.

ESSENCE.COM: You were also a former member of another female group, 3LW, which reportedly experienced a lot of controversy when Naturi Naughton left the group and reportedly accused your management of colorism. Was that true and how did it affect you?

WILLIAMS: It was heartbreaking, not only because of the accusation but to know that someone who was your best friend and spent every single day with you would say something like that. This was somebody who lived with me and in my mom's house for years. We didn't put that much weight into her claims because it wasn't true. I was shocked how many people wanted to believe that, but no one ever gave us the time of the day to hear us out. It was such a learning lesson on how people can shift it.

ESSENCE.COM: Wow. So why did she really leave?

WILLIAMS: Honestly, I have never spoken to her about it because I've never seen her again. It's crazy that someone can be so involved in your life, cry, and then in one moment you never talk or see them again. Other people who spoke to her said she just wanted to pursue a solo career and wanted to go out with a bang and make a big story so she had some major buzz to promote her solo career. I wish she would have talked to us and not disgraced me and the girls because what she did defied everything that 3LW was about and that was about uniting people. I didn't really think about how bad it would become for the group. I remember reading the message board on our 3LW Web site when I was 15, and all these people had negative comments, and I'm thinking, I didn't do anything! We didn't want to bash her because that would be doing exactly what she did to us so we took the high road with silence rather than be salacious.

ESSENCE.COM: What would you do if you saw her today?

WILLIAMS: I don't know. I don't think I hold grudges, but whenever I think about it, there was a lot of damage, because everything is so personal. I would like to think that I'd be very mature about it, but I've wondered what my reaction would be to her if we happen to see each other. I just don't know. What I hope is that the people will remember what the group stood for and what I have always stood for and that's empowering young women.

Strut Fashion Show was amazing. Ms. Kiely Williams channeled her inner Tyra Banks and worked it. Cinderella has been re-worked and you can see how creative the tour is. and it seems as if the girls were singing in the audience during The Party's Just Begun. Not too sure.

Adrienne, Kiely, and Sabrina will each have their own time to shine as they have solo sections during the tour! They are also rearranging some of the songs to make them sound a little different, but definitely hotter, and of course, getting lifted into the air to get closer to the fans! After some research on The Sisterhood of Traveling Pants 2, I found out that Kiely plays a waitress in the movie. Is this true? We all know Adrienne is in the movie (as a video renter with her boyfriend), and Sabrina's BYOU DVD and Poster is featured, but I also read that Kiely plays a Yaffa waitress. I haven't seen the movie so I can't say this is true or not.
Has anyone seen it? How long was Adrienne's scenes? Is Kiely in the movie as well?

The new spin off series 90210 just premiered and one of the stars is Michael Steger, who plays Vikram on The Cheetah Girls One World. He plays Navid, a high school journalist who video records everything. Kind of like his character in One World!

So what does The Cheetah Girls have to do with 90210 besides Michael?
THE CHEETAH GIRLS are mentioned in the premiere episode!
There is a group of catty girls who don't like each other and as one girl leaves after dissing each other, her insult is, "See you around Cheetah Girls."

We were all disappointed when we didn't see a Cheetah Girls segment on Studio DC: Almost Live! However, now we will be. Due to the recent success from the first show, there will a second one!

A second "Studio DC" special starring the Muppets is tentatively slated to air on the Disney Channel in October 2008. The follow-up special is said to include such Disney Channel stars as Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, and the Cheetah Girls.

Cant wait to see that!

There's been a lot of talk in the shoutbox about what has happened with Aaron. When he asked to be a part of LCWblog, I was really hesitant, because I ran everything myself. I know how I like things done, LCWblog is like my baby, when I opened it, I didn't think I would get the success I would get, and be praised by the girls themselves. However, Aaron did bring up some amazing points to why he should join, so after thinking about it, I decided, why not? Im getting busy with school and work and don't have as much time as I used to have when I first started. Unfortunately, it didn't work out in the end - and LCWblog is now just run by myself. I'm sure Aaron will open another site and he'll do a great job. Wasn't Cheetah-Love a nice blog? So much luck to Aaron and I'll be posting his new website for you all to visit.

Beating all competition but the Beijing Olympics on NBC, the Disney Channel's original movie musical "The Cheetah Girls: One World" harvested 6.2 million total primetime viewers on Friday.

The 6.2 million total catapulted "Cheetah Girls" into second place among all original movies scheduled on TV this summer; in first place is the Disney Channel's "Camp Rock," featuring the Jonas Brothers, which scored 8.9 million on June 20.

Two previous "Cheetah Girls" movies also chalked up humongous numbers on Disney Channel -- 6.5 million viewers in August 2003 and 7.8 million in August 2006.

Hey everyone. I emailed the designer of this font saying this:

Hi! I'm no one special, but I just wanted to let you know that your font has been used for promotional purposes for The Cheetah Girls One World Soundtrack! It was used on the CD tracklisting and interactive booklet, and was also used on The Cheetah Girls' MySpace, http://www.myspace.com/thecheetahgirls

I have nothing to do with this and am only a viewer, but I just wanted to let you know. I would be so proud if my font was used by Disney!

The House Bunny Review

I hope no one forgot that The House Bunny released in theatres yesterday too. I saw it before the premiere of The Cheetah Girls: One World. Here's my review.

I thought the entire movie was outrageously funny. Although Kiely's part in the movie was very small, she still did an amazing job.

Although, I didn't like Kiely's British accent that much. It was kind of mandatory though, because it shows why she only communicated through text message.

Anyways, Anna Faris did an AWESOME job with her role. I'm just hoping that there aren't a bunch of upset Cheetah moms when they go to see it because Kiely's in it. There is some profanity and sexual references, but in all, it was a really good movie!

LCWblog Movie Review: The Cheetah Girls One World.

The Cheetah Girls One World movie just premiered on The Disney Channel and now I'm gonna put my 2-Cents in!

In the beginning of the movie, I felt it was so rushed. How they auditioned and got to India, there was also a lot of songs in the beginning. In the first 10 minutes, 2 numbers were already performed, and in the first 30 minutes, 4 songs were performed. The beginning also felt like TCG2; especially Dig A Little Deeper, it reminded me of Strut.

The music was amazing, even though it felt like they were too close together. My favorite musical scenes are Fly Away, What If, I'm The One, No Place Like Us, and Cheetah Love. Each girl did amazing.

The acting from the girls definitely stepped up. Adrienne always did amazing at acting, but I felt Kiely has improved 110%! I enjoyed how they matured from the first and second movie. Sabrina's character kind of reminded me of Galleria in TCG2. Being left out and all. Also, the acting from the boys were good as well. Michael, who played Vik, will be appearing in 90210, the new CW series, he did a good job playing Adrienne's love interest. I was most surprised by Kunal Sharma's character, Kevin / Amar, who played Kiely's love interest and the "tech boy". He's a really great actor.

Overall, I enjoyed the movie after all the cluttered music numbers in the beginning. Don't get me wrong, I loved all of them, and they did an amazing job, I just didn't like how they were so close to each other. Once they got to the acting, that's when I enjoyed myself. Especially before I'm The One, when the girls are getting all testy with each other. If there were to be another movie, it would be hard to link back to this movie and TCG2. Will Amar be going to college with Aqua? Will Joaquin call Sabrina back? What happens after the Bollywood movie is shot? I could go on forever, but I'll stop there. Good job girls, it was a great movie. I just wish it had a longer run time. I was also wondering where Kiely's kiss scene went. Hopefully the DVD will be PACKED with extras, such as Feels Like Love music video, deleted scenes, and perhaps music videos for Crazy On The Dance Floor, Stand Up, and Circle Game?
I really hope the DVD doesn't let us down.

So my first day of school is the first day of rehearsals for TCG. I would MUCH rather be going through rehearsals for a concert tour than go to school. ;)

The Cheetah Girls One World premieres TONIGHT at 8PM, but today they'll be all over the Disney Channel!

From 4P.M. - 6P.M. there will be a That's So Raven Marathon, with all the episodes that features Adrienne Bailon as Alana.

4:00PM: Run, Raven, Run! | 4: 30PM: Don't Have A Cow |
5:00PM: Clothes Minded | 5:30PM Shake, Rattle, Rae

All 4 of those episodes feature Adrienne!

Disney Channel will also air mini marathons of other shows and they will also show ALL the episodes of Road To The Cheetah Girls One World!

The Cheetah Girls were on the season finale of Americas Best Dance Crew!
On the post show, they went up to FannyPack and told them that they were huge fans! One guy even said he had their CD! The host asked how FannyPack felt when they found out when THe Cheetah Girls were fans of them and they said Its Crazy!
The Cheetah Girls asked for FannyPack shirts and Kiely promised to wear them when they are on tour!
Sabrina even asked PerezHilton where he got his Fanny Pack Shirt!
