Wow, after posting the last post you guys all sent me so much love and support saying you do read this blog and it really motivates me and makes me proud to do what I do. So I'm happy to present LCWBlog's: The Cheetah Girls EP. What's an EP you ask? Well, an Extended Play isn't a full length album and it isn't considered a single neither, so an EP is in between. This EP basically consists loose tracks that really isn't a part of the 2 Soundtracks that were released (minus, Route 66 which is in the Special Edition 2 Soundtrack). The track listing is in the image above. There's 6 tracks, and also has high quality versions of the Front cover art and Back cover art. I hope you guys enjoy it and please leave a simple thanks in either the comment or shout-box if you download. It'll motivate me to give you more exclusives!

New Layout Added. Also, I have a question.

Hope you guys enjoy the brand new layout. I still have the LCWBlog Exclusive to upload and share with you guys. Also, lately there has been barely shouts or comments so I feel like this blog is only being read by like 2 people, so PLEASE leave shouts and comments telling me you read this blog just so I can get a count, if not there's really no point to this blog if I'm just updating it for 3 people.... I wanna know if this blog should stay or go.

Hollywood Records finally opened a extremely lazy artist page for The Cheetah Girls. It contains simple links, one to their un-updated Official Website, a Myspace invalid link (maybe their opening it up in the future, but for now there's nothing), a link to Wikipedia, which posts a lot of false news of The Cheetah Girls, a media player that was used for their other "official" site with old songs, and a direct link to iTunes. I guess we should be happy we got this but...

WHERE'S THE UPDATED OFFICIAL WEBSITE/MYSPACE FOR THE CHEETAH GIRLS?

Sigh, I hope someone from Hollywood Records reads this and decided to open a full website including updated and official news.

The Cheetah Girls song The Party’s Just Begun was used to kick off Target’s Red Hot Summer Fireworks Extravaganza in Minneapolis, MN over the weekend. The extravaganza was created by the Zambelli Family and was the largest show of this kind west of the Mississippi. It was broadcast on the radio on KOOL 108FM and on TV on KARE 11 (NBC).

Hey guys, I've added a new MP3. It's the July 10th interview with the girls, the one talking about the second single Fuego! Anyways, I recently posted news about Who We Are being in the CDVU+ format, and got a comment from a user name "ken" who said this news is incorrect. Now, I sorta got mad but then when I searched more I saw that there is someone named Ken Bunt who is Senior Vice President of Marketing at Disney's Hollywood Records. If it is the same Ken then I absolutely believe that it is incorrect, however...

» Why wouldn't WHO WE ARE be given the honor to be in CDVU+ format?
» Why hasn't Hollywood Records put up an Official Website for The Cheetah Girls when the album is coming out in less than 2 months?
» When will they release the first single and why hasn't there been much promotion?

I don't mean to be harsh but it seems to me that The Cheetah Girls aren't getting the attention or promotion they deserve. There was no promotion whatsoever for The Party's Just Begun Tour CD, even though that might be from Walt Disney Records, and there are no upcoming plans to release a full concert DVD? They had an 80-city sold-out tour and they aren't getting a full DVD? We want a full DVD! We also want an official website to update us on future appearances on TV or Radio!

UPDATE: THE CDVU+ NEWS MAY BE A RUMOR! I'LL LOOK INTO IT MORE!


Happy Friday guys! I hope you guys enjoyed the interview package, I know it wasn't working for some of you guys but I hope it works now! Tell me what you guys think about! Here's some more news I've found over the past days:

Who We Are: I'm proud to be the first blog to announce this, The Cheetah Girls upcoming studio album will be released on CDVU+. Yes that's right! Hollywood Records is taking a new spin on CDs since CD sales are so low, they want to add features to CDs so customers will buy it! CDVU+ is basically an interactive magazine with photos, lyrics, PLENTY of video segments, letters from the group, and tons more. It can be downloaded and printed! It's confirmed that Who We Are will be in CDVU+ however I do not know what's going to be on it. When I find out I'll definitely post it here! The first album to be released in CDVU+ is The Jonas Brothers new CD that will be out in August. Click here to find out what's going to be on The Jonas Brothers CDVU+ and more about CDVU+!

The Cheetah Girls 3: Disney Channel will go forward with Cheetah Girls 3 without Raven-Symone, who starred in the first two films. Production will begin in India in January, with a premiere set for next summer.

EXCLUSIVE NEWS ON THE SECOND SINGLE!!!

Hey guys! I have the official video treatment for The Cheetah Girls second single, Fuego! A video treatment is basically the overview and the plot of the video. Kiely Williams wants to direct the music video (if she learns how to direct!) for Fuego. She wants it to be filmed in Jamaica, Puerto Rico, or any Islands. It's very important to her that its a "destination" video. She wants it at night, with tiki lights, grass sands, bare feet, sun sets, with everyone dancing at a Jamaican type block-party! She wants tiki dancers, and "pigs being roasted" like a real luau! It's confirmed that FUEGO will be the SECOND SINGLE off their studio album, WHO WE ARE. So I guess, ALL IN ME will be the first single? ALSO, Fuego samples the 80's Classic, "All Night Long" by Lionel Richie! The Cheetah Girls New Nintendo Game!

We are the FIRST blog to report this.. The Cheetah Girls are getting their SECOND Nintendo DS Game! The Cheetah Girls: Pop Star Sensations brings the pop star life to girls on the go in an all new adventure featuring the "cheetah-licious" Disney Channel stars. Available on the Nintendo DS, The Cheetah Girls: Pop Star Sensations takes advantage of the handheld’s touch screen and microphone allowing players to dance with the stylus and sing along to the official Cheetah Girls soundtrack. Players help Galleria, Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda practice their unique talents of song writing, singing, fashion and dance. Girls also take on the role of stylist, selecting new outfits for the Cheetahs and sharing them with friends. LCWBlog has retrieved the HQ cover art for this. It's heavily tagged due to recent events I will not mention.

The Promotion Starts!!

Yesterday, July 15, The Cheetah Girls were the Main Event at Meijer Taylor Summer Festival in Taylor, ML. I'll try to get pictures up soon! If anyone went there and snapped pictures, videos, or can just tell me what they performed be sure to leave a comment or go in the shout box!

For anyone in the NEW YORK area.. The Cheetah Girls have been added to the NY State Fair Lineup! The final 2007 concert has been finalized for the 16,400 seat AT&T Concert Series at the Mohegan Sun Grandstand for the upcoming New York State Fair in Syracuse. The Cheetah Girls will appear Saturday, August 25 at 7:30 pm. Ticket prices are $45 and $40 and will include free admission to the Fair when purchased in advance of the show. Tickets will go on sale this Thursday, July 19.

CONFIRMED: The Cheetah Girls 3

Disney-ABC television reveals for their 2007-2008 line up that Disney Channel will present The Cheetah Girls Trequel.

Disney Channel will also present "The Cheetah Girls 3," the "trequel" to the hugely popular Disney Channel Original Movies based on an award-winning book series by Deborah Gregory. The movies spawned a successful franchise of albums, videos and consumer products. In the music-filled sequel, Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda travel to India to star in a Bollywood movie. It is slated to be filmed in India.

It says nothing about Galleria, which is Ravens character so I guess The Cheetah Girl Trequel will only have Adrienne, Sabrina, & Kiely.
